Did your HOTPOINT PS-401 suddenly stop working?

The HOTPOINT PS-401 has a critical design fault that can render it useless. It is easily fixed and requires a little time and a star/Phillips head screwdriver.
I have observed that a component in the safety tilt switch fatigues.
Please understand that other faults may occur and that I am only trying to address the most common one. I can not be held responsible or liable for any personal injury or damage inflicted on the device.
